and here we have M.A.N by GISM, the ultra legendary and influential Japanese hardcore band. They're a true favorite of mine because of their influence on hardcore in that region and even around the world. They did a damn good job of maintaining a certain level of mystery and insanity, and they did it all back in the early 80's. Although this release is quite different from their others, I would have to say that it is my favorite. Sakevi's vocals are creepy yet intense...akin to a lot of black metal. The guitar lines are among the catchiest I've heard and produce a very Iron Maiden feel. Admist the musical genius of this album is an extremely ambient, distant, and eerie. Basically what I'm trying to say is...LISTEN TO IT!!
